Security Classes

We are happy to have Warren Smith on board teaching our Armed and Unarmed security classes! Warren has been a firearms instructor for over 35 years, and is state certified to teach armed and unarmed security, as well as handgun training. He is also a NRA certified instructor for pistol, shotgun, safety inside the home, and as a chief range safety officer - as well as being a ILEETA & IALEFI member.

Armed Guard Class:

  • The Armed Guard Class (2 days) is $160 including ammo.
  • The fingerprints are $48 (to be put on a money order).
  • The Handgun Carry Permit Class can be added on for only $25 (only at the same time as the Armed Guard Class).

Unarmed Guard Training:

  • The Unarmed Guard Class is $60.
  • The unarmed guard class is only the first day of the Armed Guard Class.
  • If you are changing from the unarmed to the armed, you will have to start over at $160.

Armed Security Re-certification Classes:

  • The Guard Recertification class (4 hours) is $60 including ammo.
  • It can be taken as the first four hours of the 16 hour armed security course.
  • No fingerprints required
  • The Handgun Carry Class can not be added as an extra.

Baton and Handcuff Classes:

  • The class is a 6-6.5 class at $40 separately or $75 for both

Chemical Spray Class:

  • This is a 4 hour class at $60.
